JOIN US IN THIS GET OUT THE VOTE CAMPAIGN

“I Got 5 On It” is a joint get out the vote (GOTV) campaign from the ACLU of Georgia and Southern Poverty Law Center Georgia during the 2024 election season. Our goal is simple - we want to help make sure as many people as possible show up to vote during Early Voting and on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov 5, 2024.

We need everyone from all across Georgia to help get out the vote through the “I Got 5 On It” campaign. You can sign up as an individual or with your community group, family, church, fraternity or sorority or any other group. We can’t do this work without you!

HOW IT WORKS

“I Got 5 On It” is 5 weeks of action starting October 1 through Election Day, Tuesday November 5. Each week for 5 weeks you will talk to 5 people about voting:

Week 1: Make sure 5 folks are registered or have updated their registration.
Week 2: Send 5 postcards (email or hard copy) reminding people that Early Voting is October 15 through November 1.
Week 3: Make a plan and vote early with 5 people.
Week 4: Knock on 5 doors to remind people to Vote Early or on Election Day.
Week 5: Call or text 5 people and make sure they have voted early or have a plan to vote on Election Day, Tuesday, November 5.

To interact with the campaign, you will need to download the Reach app on your phone. Reach is available in the AppStore and Google Play. Please see the Reach Guide for more information.

SPREADING THE WORD

During the 5 weeks, you can also volunteer for text-a-thons and attend tele-town halls and an Election Day eve virtual rally. We have some surprises planned and you never know who might show up! Once you sign up, you'll recieve a kit to get started.

We look forward to your participation in this campaign to make sure everyone across Georgia shows up to the polls and votes their rights!
