This bill amends Article 2 of Chapter 5 of Title 36 to reemphasize the language in the constitution that legislatures feel supports the argument that counties cannot have any role in their own redistricting or reapportionment. The bill secures that only the General Assembly can alter, amend, reapportion, redistrict, revise, create, or establish an election district and no county government shall do so.
