Georgia Shift v. Gwinnett County

The ACLU of Georgia, ACLU Voting Rights Project, and Dechert LLP have filed a lawsuit on behalf of Georgia Shift against Gwinnett, Cobb, Fulton, and DeKalb Counties for failing to provide sufficient resources to provide enough polling places, voting machines, and staff to run a proper high-turnout election.

Allen v AT&T Mobility Services, LLC

The ACLU of Georgia filed a motion on behalf of Charles “Skip” Eckartz, a 63-year-old disabled Vietnam veteran, to waive the nearly $9,000 in fines and fees of his probation. Mr. Eckartz and his wife survive on a fixed monthly income of $966, which comes from Social Security and VA disability benefits.
