Press Advisory ACLU of Georgia Executive Director to Testify on SB 377 at Education and Youth Committee

Testifying on SB 377 (classroom censorship) at the Senate Education and Youth Committee
TODAY, February 28, 3:00 PM
Georgia State Capitol (206 Washington St SW Atlanta GA 30334)
“‘Divisive Concepts’ is new terminology that surfaced in former President Trump’s Executive Order 13590, designed to eliminate diversity and inclusion programs in the Federal. These concepts are the fruit of a poisonous tree- a tree that banned Muslims from this country and separated children from their parents at the border with Mexico,” said Andrea Young, ACLU of Georgia executive director.
