To urge support of HR 416 to establish a uniform process for the creation of election boards and the appointments of election board officials
“Irregularities in policies and procedures for voting occurred throughout the state and with different board of elections during the 2018 elections. We support HR 418 which will form a study committee to establish a uniform process for the creation of election boards, the appointments of election board officials, and setting best practices,” stated Christopher Bruce, Legislative Director of the ACLU of Georgia. “The integrity of our elections, the confidence of the public, and the protection of every citizen’s sacred, constitutional right to vote depends on the successful implementation of these measures.”
