ATLANTA – “Today’s Supreme Court decision upholding a travel ban targeted at people of the Muslim faith is a failure of historic proportions. It stands against the very principles upon which this country was founded: religious liberty and freedom of expression,” stated Burrell Ellis, Political Director of the ACLU of Georgia.

“This egregious ruling reminds us why elections matter. It is now up to the masses to rise up and raise our voices with our votes, the defining act of our democracy, in order to shield our republic and preserve liberty and justice for all.”
