APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2024 FALL SEMESTER ARE NOW OPEN.
We are currently accepting applications for the Fall 2024 semester: September 4, 2024- December 6th, 2024 (dates are approximate based on department needs and academic schedules).
The ACLU of Georgia welcomes interns each spring, summer and fall for legal, policy, communications, community engagement and development work. Interns can be from all levels of education: high-school, undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate. All applicants must complete an application form and provide a resume. Some applicants may be required to provide additional documents.
The internship this semester will offer $15/hr for approximately 15 hours per week for those eligible to be paid. Those receiving school credit will not be eligible to be paid but are still encouraged to apply. Individual schedules will be arranged with intern supervisors. All applicants must complete this application form which includes providing a resume. Some applicants may be required to provide additional documents. In order to receive compensation, you will be required to complete additional documentation such as a W-2 and I-9.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis - so we encourage you to apply early! The official application deadline is August 2nd, 2024.

LEGAL INTERNSHIP
Legal interns will be expected to perform legal research, draft legal memoranda, contribute to legal pleadings and other documents, and be otherwise available to support the ACLU of Georgia’s litigation activities. The internship is designed for those who are interested in pursuing a career in public interest litigation. Legal interns must be in law school. Applicants should have strong research, writing, and communication skills, as well as a demonstrated interest in civil liberties and civil rights.
