Please join us on Saturday, August 24th at 9:30am for the Annual Membership Meeting of the ACLU of Georgia. Our theme this year is “Taking Action for Democracy” as Georgia continues to be ground zero for a well-funded and organized movement to undermine democracy.
We will discuss our new Strategic Plan and opportunities for joining our work ahead of another historic election. There will be a special performance of Out of Hand Theater’s “Class Dismissed,” and opportunity to network with other civil liberties defenders like yourself!
This event is free for members, partners, supporters and volunteers who power our collective work. It is also for those who want to learn more about our work and how to get involved. With democracy under attack, we need everyone to join the fight to protect our fundamental rights.
Childcare and breakfast will be provided. Registration is required.
