We had a blast at the ACLU of Georgia’s 2024 Annual Membership Meeting, “Taking Action For Democracy,” this past weekend. We were encouraged by the high attendance and the energy in the room as we rallied supporters and friends to gear up for the upcoming presidential election. Executive Director Andrea Young shared some of our accomplishments from last year and our strategy for the next four years. A special performance of Out of Hand Theater’s "Class Dismissed" was met with rousing applause, and we’re grateful for the theater’s participation in encouraging an open and diverse dialogue about free speech and education in Georgia.
