Constitution Day at the Capitol

Several pocket-sized US constitutions at Lobby Day 2024

Join the ACLU of Georgia for our Constitution Day at the Capitol on Monday, January 13!

Georgia’s 2025 legislative session is just around the corner, and we’re kicking it off with Constitution Day at the Capitol. This is more than a lobby day. This is the first step in showing lawmakers that we won’t back down.

Join us at the capitol to learn about our legislative priorities, participate in trivia on Georgia’s government, distribute pocket constitutions to lawmakers, and stand in solidarity with transgender youth at Liberty Plaza alongside Georgia Equality and the Human Rights Campaign.

This event is open to everyone, so sign up and bring a friend!

Parking at the capitol is limited. If you plan on taking MARTA, Five Points or Georgia State stations are nearby. Attendees should consider using rideshare services. And, be prepared for security screenings at the entrance. Bring a photo ID and leave large metal items and weapons at home.

If you have any further questions about the event, please reach out to the Member Engagement Manager, Brittany Bromfield at [email protected]
