The Georgia legislature is back in session, and when it comes to civil liberties there’s a lot at stake under the Gold Dome. The ACLU of Georgia will be in full swing defending your civil liberties, but we need your help as an advocate.

Join us on Monday, January 8th for Constitution Day at the Capitol. This is your chance to get involved in the legislative process, learn more about the state capitol, and meet your legislators.
Attend one of our upcoming virtual volunteer orientations! Learn about the many ways you can get involved, from legal observing, to festival volunteers, to advocacy at the capitol and more.
Choose from two options:
Join us for an ACLU Community Hour focused on the first amendment, protest rights, and domestic terrorism. We'll enjoy food, drinks, a live DJ, and sweet treats from Ben & Jerry's. Our nonprofit friends, Our Turn and Global Shapers, will also be joining us.
Legendary Stonewall activist and author Miss Major Griffin-Gracy will be joining ACLU of Georgia experts to talk about how we’re fighting back against the attack on trans rights in Georgia.
Join us at the Atlanta Pride Festival, Saturday, October 14 and Sunday, October 15! We're looking for volunteers to help at the festival table, hand out swag, share information about our programs, and walk in the parade.
The 60th Anniversary Celebration was an amazing event, celebrating our accomplishments and re-affirming our vision for the fights ahead.
Now that the session has come to a close and new laws have gone into effect we are excited to look back at the 2023 legislative session and discuss the wins, losses, and what is next.
