ATLANTA – "Five million Georgians have collectively worked together to hold a free and fair election and select their elected representatives. Efforts by President Trump to overturn the will of the people offends the sacred democratic principles which are dear to Americans —Republicans, Democrats, and Independents alike. Likewise, all Georgians — and especially our elected officials — should denounce such undemocratic efforts. They are a direct assault at the very heart of our democracy,” said Andrea Young, executive director of the ACLU of Georgia.
