Rachel has spent the last six years of her career working on democracy, governance, and election initiatives at The Carter Center. Her work originally held an international focus with projects in the DRC, Ethiopia, Myanmar, and Nepal, and in more recent years focused on the United States. Rachel helped launch the Center's U.S. Elections project and piloted nonpartisan election observation efforts in Arizona. She is an alumni of the YWCA's Geogia Women's Policy Insititute and has dedicated much of her volunteer time to voter access in Georgia. Rachel is a graduate of the Master's in Development Practice program at Emory University and obtained her undergraduate degree in Political Science from Oklahoma State University.
