Cherrell Brown (she/her) is the Community Engagement Manager. A native North Carolinian, Cherrell's been organizing against anti-Black State violence for over a decade, having been radicalized by the execution of Troy Anthony Davis. Before coming to the ACLU Cherrell has worked with organizers and artists on a range of topics from abolishing the death penalty, to environmental justice. Cherrell has a 2 year-old. When she's not chasing her toddler you can find her watching The Great British Bake Off, and accumulating more student loan debt at Georgia State University.
